Seal Beach Catering
We cook tacos at Seal Beach parties, from a bungalow yard off Main Street to a clubhouse room inland. Our crew turns up with the grill and the food, cooks and serves on the spot, and leaves the space clean.
There are three fairly different kinds of party in this city, so it helps to tell us which one yours is. Old Town and Surfside mean a beach-town party on a small lot. College Park or Bridgeport means a tract house with a yard and room to spread out. Leisure World means a clubhouse room. We cook at all of them, and what changes is mostly how much space we lay the line along.
Down in Old Town the lots are short and the houses are old bungalows, which is where our compact setup earns its place. We can serve from a driveway, a patio or a side yard, and we do not need your kitchen for any of it. Housewarmings come up a lot down there, because people buy those lots to rebuild, and a party in a half-finished house is easier fed from outside than in.
Inland the work is family-scale and the guest lists are long: graduations, anniversaries, retirement parties, the birthdays where four generations turn up. Those are the bookings where guests ordering for themselves does the most good, because nobody has to find out in advance what everybody eats.
At Leisure World and the senior groups it is milestone birthdays and club lunches, usually in a booked room with a finish time. Tell us when you need to be out and we will work the timings back from that.

The station is built to go up in a tight space. We have a compact cart setup for exactly this, and on a short Old Town lot we will usually put it along the driveway or against a side fence so the yard itself stays clear for your guests.
Tell us roughly what you are working with when you send your details, whether that is a patio, a driveway, a lawn or a room with tables in it. We would rather plan the shape of the line beforehand than turn up and work it out in front of your guests.
Taco bar, taco guys and taco cart are three names for this same service.

A counter of toppings and salsas that we keep filled, rather than a tray somebody has to come and check on.
A compact cart that we bring in and take away, and it goes where a larger station will not fit.
Each guest says what they want and sees it made, which saves you asking the whole guest list in advance.
Heat lives in the salsas at the far end, so your guests decide their own.
The vegetarian option is out with the rest of it from the first guest onward.
Budget around $15 to $30 a guest. Thirty people costs more each than two hundred does, since one crew and one station have to make the trip regardless.
From there it moves with the number you are feeding, the proteins on the menu, anything extra like sides or drinks, and how many hours you want us serving. Send those and we will give you the exact total.
Four stages, and the first is the only one that asks anything of you.
Date, start time, roughly how many, and what you are marking. Tell us which part of town too, and whether we are working off a yard, a driveway or a booked room.
Proteins, toppings, and anything anyone in your group cannot eat.
When the crew arrives and how long the counter stays open. If you have a room with a finish time, this is the stage that matters.
You have the menu, the hours and the price in writing well before the date.
Plenty of parties here fill up gradually rather than all at once, especially when half the guest list is driving in from out of town. That is worth telling us, because it changes how we cook.
If your guests land over two or three hours, we keep cooking across the whole window instead of putting everything out at one sitting. The people who arrive late get the same food as the ones who got there first, and nothing has been standing under a lid waiting for them.
We cover the whole city, both sides of Pacific Coast Highway.
We cook at houses in Old Town and out at Surfside, across the inland tracts in College Park East, College Park West, Bridgeport and Marina Hill, and at the clubhouses and community rooms in and around Leisure World. If your party is on the grass at Eisenhower Park or Edison Park, we cook there too.
Where you are makes no difference to the price. That follows your guest count and how long you want us serving.
We also cover Leisure World, Sunset Beach, Rossmoor, Los Alamitos, Westminster, Cypress, Midway City, Stanton, La Palma and Huntington Beach.

Somebody takes a plate out onto the grass with everything on it. Behind her, a child gets meat and cheese and nothing else. One counter produced both and neither was arranged ahead of time.
