Stanton Event Catering
We cook tacos at Stanton quinceañeras, baptisms, first communions, birthdays and family reunions. The crew brings the grill, cooks where your party is, serves your guests and clears up after.
The big family occasions come first in this part of the county. Quinceañeras, baptisms, first communions, confirmations, milestone birthdays and reunions, with long guest lists and three or four generations in the room. If that is your party, it is the kind we are set up for.
A long guest list is the thing to tell us about. Our cooks work a line rather than putting food out for people to help themselves, so a hundred and fifty guests get served steadily instead of in one rush, and nobody is waiting twenty minutes at the back. We bring more cooks when the count is high, which is what keeps the line moving.
Your guests also order for themselves. They tell the cook what they want and watch the plate get made, so you do not have to find out in advance what everyone eats or make a separate plan for the children, the vegetarians and whoever wants it hot.
Plenty of parties here happen at a rented hall or a park shelter rather than at the house, and that suits us either way. The station travels as one unit and goes up wherever you point us.
Taco bar, taco guys and taco cart are three names for this same service.
The cooks are the service. They are at the grill from the hour you booked until the hour it ends.
Proteins, toppings and salsas laid out and refilled, so guest number two hundred is choosing from a full spread.
A setup that travels as one piece: into a back yard, a hall or a park shelter, and out again afterward.
A hundred and fifty guests get more cooks than fifty do. That is what keeps a long line moving instead of stalling.
Everything off the grill is mild. Whoever wants it hot finds the salsas at the end of the counter.
There is always a vegetarian option out there, so no guest has to make a request of anybody.
Reckon on about $15 to $30 a guest. The per-head cost comes down as the guest list goes up, because one crew and one station have to turn out either way.
Inside that, the figure follows the head count, the proteins you choose, any sides or drinks on top, and the length of the serving window. Send us those and we will put an exact number on it.
Plenty of parties here are too big for the place the family lives, so they move to a hall or a park shelter and the food has to come in from outside. That is normal work for us and it is worth saying plainly: you do not need a kitchen for this.
What we need is a flat spot for the station and room for people to line up at it. We bring the grill, the fuel, the food and the staff. Nothing runs through a kitchen, ours or anybody else's, so a park shelter with no power works the same as a hall with a full kitchen behind it.
If your party is at Stanton Central Park or over at Harry M. Dotson Park, we cook there. If it is in the banquet hall at the Civic Center, we cook there too. Tell us which when you send your date, and we will plan the line around the space.
Four stages, and only the first one is on you.
Date, start time, the number you are expecting, the occasion, and where it is happening: the house, a park shelter or a hall.
Which proteins, which toppings, and whatever your guests cannot eat. This is also where a high guest count changes the quantities.
We work backward from when you want people eating, and forward from any hour you have to be out of the room.
Menu, timings and total, all agreed before the date, so there is nothing to settle on the day itself.
Stanton is compact, so the crew reaches every part of it, and the same station serves a back yard, a park shelter or the hall at the Civic Center.
A guest list here often reaches into Garden Grove, Westminster and Anaheim, and we work across those borders without the service changing.
We also cover Cypress, Westminster, Garden Grove, Midway City, La Palma, Buena Park, Los Alamitos, Rossmoor, Anaheim and Leisure World.
Tell Us About It
A hundred and fifty people and one line, and nobody standing around waiting for a tray to be refilled. Your guests come over when they are ready, say what they want, and the cook makes it in front of them.
