We cater tacos at Cypress kids' birthdays, graduations and block parties, and at weekday lunches for the business parks. Cooked on site, served to order, cleared away after.
Cypress produces two sorts of booking that barely overlap. Weekends are family: kids' birthdays, graduations, baptisms, milestone birthdays, in a back yard or at one of the park pavilions. Weekdays belong to the business parks and the commercial strips, where lunch has to land at midday and finish on time.
The pavilion booking is the one worth planning properly. You have the pavilion for a set stretch, and often a bounce house and other vendors arriving in the same window, so the thing to tell us is what time you want food going out and we will work the arrival back from it. We bring our own grill and counter, so we are not waiting on anything the pavilion has.
Street parties are common here too, which is not true everywhere we work. For those we set up at the curb, cook through the hours you want, and pack out, so no single household ends up running the food for the whole block.
The weekday lunches run to a tighter clock. If your people get forty minutes, say so and the counter will be hot and serving when they walk out rather than still going up.
Three of these are names for the same service. You may have searched any of them.

Their station, with fillings and toppings replenished behind them while the line moves.
A wheeled setup that handles a pavilion, a curb or a back gate equally well.
Guests choose at the station and see the plate built. Nothing was decided for them beforehand.
Heat lives in the salsas at the far end of the station, for whoever reaches that way.
One filling is always meat-free, sitting out with the rest rather than made when asked.

A pavilion comes with tables and shade already, so the only thing missing is the cooking. The station goes along one side, which keeps the grill clear of where people are sitting.
None of our equipment plugs into anything. Fuel, food and station all arrive on the van, so the pavilion is not supplying us with a thing.
Which is why a back yard, a driveway or a closed street is no different. Firm ground, and space for people to line up: that is the lot.
Tell us which park and which pavilion when you write, or which side of the street if it is a block party, so the crew turns up knowing what they are setting up on.
Reckon on about $15 to $30 a guest, running higher per person for a small group since the crew comes out either way.
Where you land depends on the number eating, how many proteins you want, whether you add sides or drinks, and the length of service. Those four and we can be exact.
Five stages, and the first is the only one that needs you.
Which day, what time, roughly how many heads, the reason, and the setting: back yard, pavilion, closed street or workplace.
We work through the proteins with you, then the sides, then anything the group cannot have.
Two times get set: when we show up and how long we serve. A pavilion slot or a lunch hour decides the second one.
Food, schedule and cost, written down and agreed in advance.
We come in, assemble, cook, serve, dismantle, and leave the spot tidy.
Send us your date and we will tell you whether we have a crew free for it.
Across the city, at homes, pavilions and workplaces.
We cook at houses right across the city, out at Sorrento and around Mackay Place, and through the older streets behind the Lincoln Avenue frontage. At the parks it is usually a pavilion at Arnold Cypress Park, Lexington Park, Evergreen Park or Veterans Park, and Oak Knoll and Eucalyptus are the bigger ones families use.
We also cater in the two business parks and around the Town Center for weekday lunches. None of that changes the figure, which comes off the number eating and the length of the service.
We also cover La Palma, Los Alamitos, Stanton, Rossmoor, Buena Park, Leisure World, Westminster, Midway City, Garden Grove and Seal Beach.
Send the date, a rough head count and whether it is a party or a lunch. A menu and a figure come back to you.
