We cook tacos at Villa Park milestone birthdays, graduation parties, anniversaries and December watch parties, out on the driveway or the back lawn. Everything we need comes with us, and goes again afterward.
Villa Park parties happen at home, and not by preference: there is no public party park inside the city, no banquet venue and barely any commercial base, so feeding a crowd means a driveway, a patio or a back lawn. The lots here are big enough to carry it comfortably.
The occasions are the ones a settled residential city produces: milestone birthdays, graduation parties, anniversaries, retirement parties and holiday entertaining. Guest lists tend to be long, because people here have lived on the same street for years and the party is the whole street as often as it is the family.
December is the one date that stands out. When the lit vehicles come through on their parade route, households right along it have guests over to watch, and those are catered outdoors at the front of the house rather than the back. If yours is one of them, the useful thing to tell us is the hour the parade reaches your street, since the food wants to be going out before that rather than during it.
The rest of the year the pattern is simpler: an afternoon or an evening at the house, a long guest list, and a host who would rather be with her guests than running the food.

Space makes this straightforward. The counter can go at the top of the driveway, or along one edge of the lawn, which keeps the grill out of the part of the yard your guests are actually using.
Everything comes with the crew: the grill, the fuel, the food and the staff to cook and serve it. Your kitchen is not needed at any point, which matters on an evening when a bar or another caterer is working out of it already.
When service ends the counter comes apart, the area we worked in is cleaned, and all of it goes out on the van. Nothing stays on your property to be collected another day.
About $15 to $30 a guest, costing more each at the small end since one crew comes out either way.
From there: your numbers, the breadth of the menu, anything extra like sides or drinks, and how many hours we stay. Those four and we can price it exactly.
Three of these are names for the same service. You may have searched any of them.

Their counter, restocked as the evening goes rather than laid out once and left.
A cart on wheels, as happy at the top of a driveway as it is round the back.
Guests choose at the counter and see it put together. Nothing was decided on their behalf.
Heat lives in the salsas at the far end, which is where a guest picks it up or does not.
There is no single round that goes out and finishes. A guest arriving at nine eats food cooked at nine.
Three stages, and the first is the only one that needs you.
Date, start time, an approximate number, the occasion. If the food has to be out by a particular hour, that is the detail to lead with.
Proteins and sides get chosen, we fix an arrival and a length of service, and the whole thing comes back to you costed and in writing.
We are set up before your start, we serve your hours, and then the counter is struck and the ground is left clean.
Houses right across the city.
Villa Park is small and almost all of it is houses, so there is not much of a list: we cook across the city, on the large-lot streets throughout it, and we know the run of roads around the Town Center and the Wanda greenbelt.
Where you are makes no difference to the price. That follows your guest numbers and how long you want us serving.
We also cover Orange, North Tustin, Tustin, Yorba Linda, Placentia, Santa Ana, Anaheim, Fullerton, Garden Grove and Brea.
Send the date, a rough guest count and what you are marking. A menu and a price come back to you.

Tables out on the lawn, the counter at one end, and food still being made when people come back for a second. That is most of a Villa Park evening.
